Heather

Heather enjoys being a friend, a problem solver, and a motivator working at Mad River Family Dental as a dental hygienist. Originally having gone to school for nursing, a fellow classmate encouraged Heather to focus on the dental program. Working in reception at a dental office, she could cross-train while simultaneously finishing her degree in dental hygiene. Heather strives to help patients figure out an optimal home care routine that improves their oral health and fits in their daily lifestyle. Heather shares “There is no one size fits all approach” when it comes to oral and overall health. Her favorite part of the job is working with Dr. Hickey and the wonderful staff. “There’s a genuine spirit of cooperation and shared goals that revolve around helping the patients have the best experience possible.” When she’s not working, Heather enjoys spending time with her family – coaching and playing sports.
